No. Some people think summer internships have to stink - the smart ones think summer internships are the best jobs out there. I can't stand the people that think- He is just an intern, so he needs to go through this. Or, let's get our intern to get the coffee. People that force their interns to do dumb intern jobs, like get coffee, are going to get bad work from them. Managers that treat their interns well are going to get great work from them! It doesn't make sense to have interns doing dumb stuff, they can get incredible amounts of work done.
Summer internships don't have to stink, that's my point. Managers need to realize what students can do and then give them the freedom to get stuff done. Period.

Summer Internships can be great. I was considering applying for Microsoft or Amazon next summer since the oppertunity is great but they also pay there interns really well. Microsoft is even doing somthing called "my intern life at Microsoft" where a few of the interns are filming their experiences. It looks really cool.

Hi all...
This is really interesting take on the concept. The summer internships give you a real-life view of what a graduate career with PwC would be like. You'll find out first-hand if this is the career for you. Thanks a lot for sharing with us...
